Every year, the Caffe de Matoš transforms an urban space in Zagreb’s city centre into a communal chill zone. For 2024, Summer at Mažuranac on the square of the same name will keep guests refreshed as they relax on deckchairs, bean bags and at café tables. Drinks include craft beer and cocktails, while the food selection runs from paninis to tacos and burgers, as well as bao buns.

Live music is performed on Wednesdays and Thursdays, while DJs handle the rest. Children are treated to shows, face painting, workshops and games in the shade. A full schedule of shows and other activities can be found on the event’s Facebook page.

Summer at Mažuranac is free to attend, and is open daily until July 27.

Where: Trg braća Mažuranić
When: Mon-Thur 4pm-11pm, Fri 4pm-midnight, Sat 10am-midnight, Sun 10am-11pm.
Admission: FREE
