Das Haus

Twelve km west of the city, club Das Haus is literally a house - a huge, 1930s house, whose brickwork is crumbling around the edges and whose fences are caving in. The site of Zagreb's growing subculture, it's a kind of refuge for those who see underground clubbing as a lifeline. With no neightbours to placate, a Das Haus party lasts a whole weekend. The atmosphere is relaxed, and regulars have developed a real sense of community - meaning that, for many, Das Haus parties are the pinnacle of Zagreb nightlife.
