With temperatures hovering around freezing, it certainly feels like winter in Zagreb. But a newly-opened concept bar in the Croatian capital is taking things to chilly extremes.
Ice Bar Zagreb, which opened on the 9th December, is made from a staggering 16 tonnes of ice. Guests can drink from glasses made of ice, sit on chairs made of ice, and generally test their physical limits in the -8 degree room.
Located in the city’s south-west, by the Arena Centar, the bar will open from 10am to 11pm daily until mid-February 2017. There’s an entrance fee of 35kuna – a small price to pay for a drink in what must be the coolest bar in town.
