Bundek Park

Neglected for decades, Bundek Part underwent a huge renovation in 2007. It went from wasteland to wonderland, and now it attracts swarms of people on hot summer days, all of them vying to get the best seat on the gravel beach, or the first go on the children's swings. There are bike paths and gardens, and it's largely a serene space much loved by joggers and families. Art and flower shows are often hosted here, too, and it's impeccably located: the Musuem of Contemporary Art is just a block away, and the Zagreb Fairgrounds are opposite.
