First Fridays: Badass Bites & Booze

If you're anything like us, you don't need an excuse to celebrate the badass women in your life. Still, we're not complaining about the opportunity to show 'em a little extra love for International Women's Day on Sunday, March 8. Time Out Market Chicago gathers its fearless female culinary leaders for a bites bash like no other. Enjoy $5 tasting portions from Dana Salls Cree of Pretty Cool Ice Cream, Jennifer Jones Enyart from Dos Urban Cantina, Danielle Dang of HaiSous and many more. We'll raise a glass to these amazing women with a badass bar program to match, featuring drinks from Shelby Allison of Lost Lake, the ladies of Cambria Winery, Catalina Gaete from Catan Pisco and Claudia Jendron of Spiteful Brewing. Plus, lady-owned local businesses Smitten Boutique and Tribeca Boutique will be showcasing some of their favorite products, and comedian Alex Kumin and friends will be performing at Tony's Rooftop Bar at 8pm.
