Wakandacon

Named after the fictional African nation of Wakanda depicted in Marvel's recent Black Panther film, this convention is devoted to Afro-futurism and creating a safe and supportive space for people of color who are interested in culture, technology, art and more. Guests can attend panels, network with fellow attendees, take part in a video game tournament, learn how to code and shop a marketplace filled with more than 100 small businesses.
