More than 150 people braved the cold last night and joined us for a festive party at Park & Field in Logan Square. Guests clad in ugly Christmas sweaters got a head start on the holiday season with a special menu, s’mores baskets and classic board games.
At the bar, we served a variety of hot cocktails such as mulled spiced red wine, bourbon-spiked apple cider and Mexican hot cocoa with chili Kahlua and Ancho Reyes liqueur. Of course, no one needed much liquid courage to get outside and roast marshmallows for s’mores over the fire pits on the patio. Before the night ended, we crowned the ugliest sweater in the room (which involved a deconstructed Teddy bear) and decorated gingerbread houses for good measure.
