South Side Science Festival

The University of Chicago is holding a free one-day event that invites the community to engage with scientists and a culture of discovery. The family-friendly festival will offer demos where folks can interact with jellyfish or jump into a VR simulation; listen to top scientists delve into topics on the cutting edge of science, like AI ethics and the origin of the universe; and watch a Science Slam competition that challenges participants to present their science on stage in the most engaging way.
