Shamrock’n the Block

Looking for something to do after the St. Patrick's Day Parade downtown? On the day of the parade and river dyeing, Old St. Patrick's Church hosts this all-day block party in the West Loop featuring a heated beer tent, live music, food, kids events, Irish dancing and plenty of other festivities fit for the city's most Irish holiday. Catch performances from acts like Liam Durkin, the Chancey Brothers and Whiskey Mick, while kids enjoy Irish dance lessons and balloon animals. General admission tickets are $25, but the $50 all-inclusive tickets will score you food and drink as well. A limited amount of tickets may be available at the door.
