If the idea of a 5K race bores you to tears, maybe an event inspired by game shows like Wipeout and Ninja Warrior will get you off the couch. The Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge Race sends participants through a course featuring 12 large obstacles, including inflatable water slides, wrecking balls and pits full of foam.
