Robin Thicke opened with his banger hit "Blurred Lines," and by the end of his Taste of Chicago set last night, the R&B singer performed it twice, dipping into fits of falsetto. Alas, no Pharrell or T.I. cameos. Nonetheless, Thicke drew a big crowd to Grant Park, including Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, who got a chance to hang out with Mayor Rahm Emanuel backstage. Kunis is in town shooting Jupiter Ascending, the latest sci-fi vision from Lana and Andy Wachowski, the sibling directors of The Matrix. No sign of Jupiter Ascending's male lead, Channing Tatum.
The other big performer from Thursday evening was British crooner Estelle, who subdued the audience with her sultry voice and catchy beats.
