The Chicago Humanities Festival is one of our favorite events, bringing authors, artists, comedians and other cultural luminaries to venues all across the city. To celebrate its final day, the festival organized a day of programming in Pilsen, capped off with a closing party at Thalia Hall (just across the street from Pilsen’s newest record store). Featuring music from Sones de México Ensemble, Dos Santos, and Sonorama; treats from Xocoatl Churro Factory and beer from Lagunitas, it was the perfect way to end another amazing year. Take a look at photos from the closing party (including shots from our photo booth).
