This St. Patrick's Day weekend, don't risk letting clogged-up traffic ruin your green river experience. In honor of the river dyeing and St. Patrick's Day parade on Saturday, March 14, Metra will offer expanded service on eight of its commuter rail lines, conveniently ferrying revelers to downtown stations within walking distance of the festivities. Want to keep the party going? Extended service will also be provided on the Rock Island Line for Sunday's South Side Irish Parade.
