For the first time since 1988 (back when Michael Jordan was still playing for the Bulls), the NBA All-Star Game is returning to Chicago, bringing LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo and more of the league's best players to the city. Before the marquee exhibition game at the United Center on Sunday night, you'll find lots of basketball-related things to do around town, including special performances at the best nightclubs in Chicago and an NBA fan festival on Navy Pier. There's also a celebrity game (featuring Chance the Rapper and Common) and a slam dunk contest to look forward to, but don't worry if you can't afford a ticket to any of the big games—many of the best bars in Chicago will be screening the action throughout the weekend. Ready for basketball to take over the city? We've gathered some of the best things to do in Chicago during NBA All-Star Game weekend, including concerts, pop-ups and the actual on-the-court competitions.
