Letters from Langston

Evelyn Crawford and MaryLouise Patterson are the editors of the 2016 book Letters from Langston: From the Harlem Renaissance to the Red Scare and Beyond, which presents correspondence between Langston Hughes and four confidantes—including Crawford and Patterson’s parents. They’ll discuss the project and present original letters and artifacts, followed by a book signing.
