King Day Festival: Lift Every Voice

Parents and children will discover the power of their voice and share their vision for the world at this free family event. As part of the Kind Day program, young poets from Reborn Poetry Ensemble will perform and guests will be treated to a reading of the new children's book A Gift From Greensboro by author Quraysh Ali Lansana. The event will also include collaborative art-making activities and art chats with teen interns about art on display. All Illinois residents will be admited to the museum free of charge.
