Celebrate and support people of color who work in the hospitality industry at this event presented by _The Other Project. Hosted at Logan Square stalwart Lula Cafe, In Living Color joins together a group of up-and-coming Chicago-based chefs and bartenders for an evening of eating, drinking, dancing and thoughtful conversation. The evening includes a live panel discussion moderated by Chicago Sun Times reporter Ji Suk Yi with industry leaders Adrienne Lo of Fat Rice, Tracey Ramsey of Lost Lake and Ryan Pfeiffer of Blackbird. Proceeds benefit Silver Fork, a culinary arts and job-readiness program centered around low-income members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community.
