Illinois State Fair

After being canceled in 2020, the Illinois State Fair is back with an array of tasty fried foods and the traditional life-size Butter Cow sculpture (made from 800 pound of local, salted butter) in tow. Head to the State Fairgrounds in Springfield, IL and you'll find the usual array of carnival rides, auto races, livestock competitions and  (separately tickted) concerts from the likes of Toby Keith, Bret Michaels and George Thorogood.
