Don a bright pink T-shirt and race around Chicago to benefit Research a Cure, a nonprofit that supports collaborative breast cancer research. Runners will be able to join Dina Bair from WGN-TV for a 5K family fun run or walk or Irish Olympian Sonia O’Sullivan, who will lead the 10K race. The event is open to adults and children, and all funds raised will go toward supporting research efforts at the Ludwig Breast Cancer Research Center at the University of Chicago, which focuses on metastatic disease and ways to inhibit recurrence.
