George Saunders, lauded as a contemporary master of short fiction, comes to discuss his much-anticipated first novel, Lincoln in the Bardo. The novel reimagines the dealth of Abharam Lincoln's son, Willie, at the beginning of the Civil War. The talk is part of Chicago Humanities Festival's winterprogramming.
