Flour Power

Support women and fuel your sweet tooth at this International Women's Day-themed bake sale, where all proceeds will go toward the Chicago nonprofit Women Unite. Attendees can sip coffee and nibble pastries and other confections created for the occasion by more than a dozen female chefs from across Chicago, including Katherine Duncan from Katherine Anne Confections and Sandra Holl from Floriole Cafe & Bakery. Twenty dollars will get you five vouchers to sample a selection of snacks, but you can score extra goodies (like an event-themed tote bag and other treats from chefs and vendors) when you opt for the $30 or $75 tickets.
