Time Out says

No need to genuflect, but the Empty Bottle’s latest branch functions as an Episcopal church by day. Bands set up on the altar, before a backdrop of ornate wooden paneling and faux-Renaissance depictions of the passion. The Rev. Meigan Cameron, bred on Talking Heads and Nirvana, bans hip-hop and metal from her holy stage, but the unique spot has made a fittingly solemn setting for acts like Low, Jenny Lewis and Tindersticks.
