Cyndee Schaffer on “Mollie's War”

Celebrate Veterans Day with this virtual event highlighting the work of women during World War II, hosted by Edgewater Village Chicago, Friends of the Edgewater Library and the Edgewater Branch Library. In an afternoon presentation, author Cyndee Schaffer will discuss her book Mollie's War, which chronicles her mother's letters from her time serving as a member of the Women’s Army Corps in England, France and Germany during World War II. The event is free to attend, but pre-registration via Zoom is required.
