David Carl’s Celebrity One-Man Hamlet

New York actor and improviser David Carl, who started portraying actor and reality-show oddball Gary Busey as part of the cast of Point Break Live!, branched out with this solo performance created for the 2014 New York International Fringe Festival that imagines Busey’s singular retelling of Shakespeare’s tragedy. Time Out New York proclaimed it “as much stupid fun as its title suggests.” Carl performs here as part of Shakespeare 400 Chicago.
