Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival Free Neighborhood Tour

As part of its 10-day series of puppet theater works, the Chicago International Puppet Theater Festival will deputize puppet artists Ty Defoe, Jerrell L. Henderson and Joshua Holden to perform a collection of free, family-friendly shows in five neighborhoods throughout Chicago. Performances (which are first come, first served) include explorations of Blackness in America, a quirky variety show and an eagle dance inspired by the teachings of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples.
