Time Out says

Performed by the Chicago-based activist theater company Black Lives, Black Words, this take on ancient Greek playwright Euripides' tragedy The Suppliants moves the setting to modern day and transforms into a story of two mothers fighting for their respective sons' honor in different ways. Written by Chicago playwright Katrina D. RiChard, Call for the Wailing Women will be streamed live from the home of actors Allyson Brown and Bianca Laverne Jones. The performance is part of the Black Lives, Black Words company's “Plays for the People” streaming series, which highlight performers of color speaking honestly about their communities.
