PAWS Chicago 5K Walk/Run

This annual fundraising event supporting homeless animals in Chicago is going virtual for a week of pet-friendly, Halloween-themed programming. A costume contest for humans and pups and online opening ceremonies provide a lead up to the grand event on Saturday, when folks can run or walk in a virtual version of the race complete with photo stops and other activities. All participants will receive a T-shirt, DIY event kit and other swag (not to mention the gratification of raising money for homeless dogs and cats throughout the city).
