Salon Moka

Japanese pictures, prints and decorations are plastered on the walls, stemming from the owner's Japanese heritage (he moved to Chicago 20 years ago from Tokyo), making the otherwise barebone salon and spa a little more zen. We wish, however, that the owner would add some Japanese treatments instead of sticking to the basics—massage, manicure, pedicure and facial (although he promises to start using some Japanese products in the future). The massage we received was decent, although we hope the squeaky wood floors will be oiled soon, to up the relaxation factor.
