Rent the Runway

The 2,940-square-foot Chicago outpost of designer rental website, RentTheRunway.com, will open in the Gold Coast later this month. The sleek space, complete with chic dressing rooms and a "selfie mirror" will be stocked with a rotating inventory of more than 300 major designers, including Diane von Furstenberg, Marchesa Notte, Cushnie et Ochs and Vera Wang. And the stock isn't just limited to dresses—the store also rents rompers, jumpsuits, jewelry and handbags. Four-day apparel rentals range from $30–$800 and come in sizes 0–22. Accessory rentals start at just $5.
