Somewhere between a speciality grocery store and a food hall, Dom's Kitchen & Market is the latest project from Bob Mariano (real grocery heads know his name), who co-founded the concept with a focus on goods from local brands and purveyors. An array of produce, meat, dairy, dry goods and alcohol surrounds stands that use the ingredients on the shelves to create made-to-order meals. Plant Butcher serves salads and juice, the Stackup specializes in sandwiches, the Hearth cuts slices of Bonci pizza and Gohan stocks sushi, poke and katsu sandos. There's even a bakery counter lined with Stan’s Donuts and Molly’s Cupcakes as well as a dedicated coffee bar that brews Metropolis and Intelligentsia during the day before transitioning to beer and cocktails in the evening. Everything is available for takeout, but seating areas throughout the store (and on its patio) provide convenient spots to take a break and enjoy your meal.
