City Lit Books

When City Lit Books announced its closure in 2020, Logan Square resident and long-time librarian Stephanie Kitchen stepped in to take over, reopening the store a few months later. With a focus on contemporary fiction, non-fiction, and children's books, City Lit is the neighborhood’s hub for literary events: book clubs, poetry salons, and author talks. Take advantage of the free parking behind the building and visit to pick up the latest bestseller, something recommended by their staff, an indie title or a work from a local writer.
