A nondescript Irving Park storefront serves as the headquarters of independent label Bloodshot Records, which was founded in 1993 by a group of Chicagoans who were DJs at a country music night at Delilah's (then known as Crash Palace). The label is the home to artists who blend country music tropes with genres like punk rock and soul, including folks like Robbie Fulks, Lydia Loveless and Jon Langford. The front room of Bloodshot HQ doubles as a shop, selling the label's latest vinyl, CDs, T-shirts and more.
