Time Out says

Located on the edge of Pilsen and Chinatown, 88 Marketplace bills itself as "Chicago's Largest Chinese Supermarket," stocked with produce, meat and fish counters and aisles filled with all manner of Chinese beverages, dry goods and candy. The second-story grocery store also hosts an in-house food court, where you can grab food from a vairety of stands, including delicious sushi from 312 Fish Market, decadent baked goods from an outpost of Chiu Quon Bakery or roasted duck from BBQ King 88.

Downstairs on the first floor, you'll find even more delicious things to enjoy, such as bubble tea (and bubble waffles!) from Pure Tea and the debut U.S. location of Chinese chain Qiao Lin Hotpot, where guest choose a broth, plus the meat, veggies and noodles that will be cooked in it.

Few grocery stores in Chicago stock as many specialty and imported Chinese products as 88 Marketplace, making it an essential spot for anyone who needs difficult-to-find ingredients for Chinese recipes. And while it doesn't boast the sheer variety of Chinatown, the 88 Marketplace is a great place to stop for a snack or a quick meal—whether you sit down to enjoy it at a table or take it home with you.
