57th Street Books

A sister store to the more intellectual Seminary Co-Op Books, 57th Street Books is a surprisingly large, yet cozy shop nestled in the basement of a Hyde Park apartment building. While the store's wide and general variety will rarely disappoint, it is especially lauded for its robust children's section, as well as a noteworthy selection of local authors. The shop also hosts occasional events, author signings, and book clubs.
