Are breakfast bao—stuffed with egg, bacon and cheese or, more successfully, egg with a peppery crumbled sausage—the new Wheaties? Maybe. But if you aren’t ready to give up cereal just yet, there’s plenty more to try at this outpost of the LEYE chain. Pot stickers are fine; better to go with the Thai curry-chicken rice bowl with its mild, yet aromatic and complex, yellow curry. Or just stick with the bao, steamed buns stuffed with fillings such as slightly spicy kung pao chicken or the sweet and rich barbecue pork.
