Tod mun pla, fried spicy fish cakes, are flavored with lemongrass and come with a tasty, sweet dipping sauce with chunks of cucumber and ground peanuts. Curries are good, too, from mild yellow with peas to the decadent Massaman made with chunks of potatoes, pineapples and tomato, in coconut milk–curry gravy.
