We know it doesn’t look much different from every other sports bar. But trust us, if you venture to eat the Spread’s food, you’ll find better-than-pub-grub fare. The Bookee Sandwich, for instance, is an instant classic: kosher salami, caramelized onions and Merkt cheddar stuffed into a pretzel roll. Ditto for the Race Horse slider, topped with pepper jack, horseradish and fried onions. And if it’s a salad you want, try the “Field,” blue cheese tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette over spinach. (Hey, we said the food was good, not revolutionary.)
