You’ll be happy to know that you don’t have to venture all the way to Argyle Street to find decent pho in Chicago. Chinatown happens to stock more than moo shu; in fact, thanks to this spot, it’s also home to this Vietnamese classic built around a bold and hearty beef broth. Expect little more than cheap eats (aside from the pho, the crispy spring rolls with peanut sauce are noteworthy) and no-frills service and you’ll be more than satisfied. Bring a few beers to wash everything down, and you’ll be downright happy.
