The Brown Sack (CLOSED)

After a few years of being the only café of its ilk on a block of far-west Logan Square, this simple sandwich shop relocated to a corner even more in need of cuteness: Belden Ave and Central Park. But consider yourself warned: While cute, this new space is by no means hip (though the Phish paraphernalia on the walls—not to mention the same band’s tunes coming through the speakers—definitely qualify it as hippie). Should you care? Not really—the sandwiches (serviceable), cups of chili (robust) and milkshakes (heavenly) taste the same no matter what room—or neighborhood—you eat them in.
