Americanized Thai restaurants are a dime a dozen, so why is this one successful? Two reasons: It’s across from Webster Place theater and does a brisk premovie crowd, and the kitchen turns out dependable Thai standards. The crispy shrimp and the lime-dressed chicken salad are good starters, and the duck or the garlic-lemongrass shrimp are tasty entrées. Vegetarians will be happy with the flavorful tofu and crisp veggies that dot nearly a dozen meat-free dishes.
