If you come here looking for Fattoush (the Middle Eastern restaurant that used to be at this address), you may think you’ve found it, as the minimally decorated room is almost exactly the same. The menu, of course, could not be more different. It’s full of all your standard Indian and Pakistani staples, like garlic nan, palak paneer (spinach with fresh cheese), chana masala (something like a chickpea stew) and beef haleem (slow-cooked lentils with barley and beef)—all of them distinguished from other versions around town by hefty doses of fiery spice.
