Once a family-owned taqueria much like any other you'd find in neighborhoods throughout the city, Tacotlán became a destination when it started offering birria—a stewed beef that's often served in tacos with a side of consommé for dipping. You'll find tacos de birria, quesadillas, birria ramen and fries topped with the stewed beef on the menu. And you'll need to order early, because the popular meat typically sells out quickly!
