Sprinkles Cupcakes

The cupcakes at this L.A. export have a homey crumb and are glazed with icing with blessed restraint. There’s no opening wide for these things—these are cupcakes that, for once, are of manageable size. That may convince you to eat more than one, which you probably can. Just three pieces of advice: chocolate flavors are better than non-chocolate (the chocolate peanut butter is insane; the vanilla is just insanely sweet); fruit flavors (strawberry, lemon) taste slightly artificial; and you should probably pack an iPod—it dampens the squeals of women as they lick their fingers clean of crumbs.
