Roti sandwiches seem like the thing to get at a place called Roti. But trust us and ignore them. The grilled meat (chicken or steak) is perfectly fine, and with all the sauces you can put on it (cucumber-yogurt; red-pepper-aioli), you can definitely make it taste good. But the specialty here is the falafel. It is perhaps the least-authentic falafel in the city—it’s got a fluffy, eggy, fritterlike consistency—but it is also one of the most ethereal.
