The oyster bar strives to recreate a 1950s Chicago atmosphere, and the dark woods and retro wallpaper give it a vintage vibe. It's a fine place for a few oysters and a drink, but stick with wine or beer, since cocktails, like the Commodore, is an unbalanced drink with rye, vermouth, maraschino and lemon. The lobster roll, a hybrid Maine-Connecticut style (buttered lobster, with a swipe of mayo on the bottom of the bun), is marred by the too-dry meat.
