More is more at this Northern Indian addition to the West Loop, where ample permutations of lamb, shrimp and chicken are mere footnotes to considerable vegetarian options. For breadth and value, visit the lunch buffet, which includes all the usual suspects: potato-and-pea samosas, nan, cracker-like papadum, saag paneer (spinach stewed with cubes of soft cheese), chicken makhani (in creamy tomato sauce), gulab jamun (sugar syrup–soaked fried balls of condensed milk) and much more. Despite Mughal's downtown location, prices are in line with those on Devon (though for more distinctive dishes, we'd still take the hike).
