It’s hidden under a loud, shaky pair of El tracks on a dark, deserted corner in the West Loop, but that doesn’t keep this historic room from being a destination for Northern Italian fare. Appetizers like sauteed mussels to grilled portobello will tempt you, but we suggest heading face-first into the entrées. Between the housemade ravioli (filled with ricotta and topped with brown butter and crunchy bits of fried sage) and the enormous, juicy, grilled, stuffed pork chops, you won’t have room for much else anyway.
