At this tiny, 12-seat sushi joint, the nigiri is fresh, the gyoza are crispy and the prices are, for the most part, spot-on. But when it comes to the signature maki, the focus is more on crazy sauces and combinations than on the fish itself. The mango sauce on the Dark Knight Roll, along with mango in the roll, is so overpowering there may as well not be any tuna in it; the intriguing BLT roll doesn't offer much beyond bacon. Still, with solid basics and incredibly friendly service, it’s worth keeping a menu around for delivery. (Eating in, however, probably isn’t worth the wait.)
