You’ll notice the prices for basic Korean classics at this West Loop spot—deep-fried mandoo dumplings; rice cake in red-pepper sauce (duk boki)—are a bit steeper than you’d find up around “K Town.” But in this virtual Korean-food desert, we take what we can get. The best value might be the $8.99 lunch buffet, and bibimbap is a house special, but take a cue from the handful of post-work Korean-Americans pairing their beer with spicy beef-broth kimchi casseroles.
