Belly up to the all-you-can-stomach smorgasbord at this Northwest Side mainstay for piles of pierogi, stacks of crispy potato pancakes and mounds of meaty cabbage rolls (but go early to avoid the results of heat-lamp exposure that occur late in the day). There’s nothing particularly “jolly” about the 1970s Holiday Inn–inspired decor, but we dare you not to smile when you fork over ten bucks ($12 on weekends) for an endless supply of sausages, blintzes, juicy “corn beef” and cabbage, a dessert bar and more. Invest the extra $1.50 for the pickle soup—you’ll thank us later, big spender.
